Description
Kevin drove.
Hiked to Skogafoss waterfall(s). Quite windy and pretty cool. Number of people on trail diminished the further we went.
Hiked to and gently entered the Seljavallalaug pool.
Short hike to and behind Seljalandsfoss Waterfall. Wore rain jackets!
Google Maps got confused on route to Hveragerði due to road improvements and new round-about.
Ate dinner of spaghetti, salad, bread, and wine.
Relaxed and worked on blog.

We drove to Skogar and took a great hike called Skogafoss which was actually not a single waterfall but alongside a river where we saw many waterfalls. Perhaps a dozen! All spectacular! We ate lunch on the trail. Next stop was the Seljavallalaug Swimming Pool. We hiked in to see the pool, built in 1923 and took a dip since we were there! The water was full of dirt and some green slimy stuff but it was an experience! Next was the Seljalandsfoss Waterfall. The unique thing about this one is you can walk around behind the falls. We did that and then made our way to lodging in Hveragardi.
