Iceland - Day 15

Description

Robin drove.
Hiked Dyrhólaey Nature Preserve.
Hiked Reynisfjall Mountain via Vik.
Acquired salad, tomatoes, cheese, cookies, raisins, and Skyr yogurt from The Kr supermarket in Vik.
Visited Vik’s church.
Dinner was ramen noodles, salad, cheese & crackers with glass of red wine.

Details

We explored the coastal town of Vik. We took a hike at Dyrholaey nature preserve on the coast. There are many basalt sea stacks along the black sand coast. We did another hike up the Reynisfjall Mountain. There was no one else up there (only sheep) and we explored the mountain top overlooking the ocean and Vik. After the hike we saw the church, bought groceries, and went home to our apartment to relax.
